IM Prologue

I see the main character of Invisible Man living in his "hole". There are over a thousand lights because he is trying to get back at the power company. This tells me that he is trying to find ways to fight back against the racists. He is also alone in his home, which tells me that he is probably very lonely. He is also in the basement, maybe symbolizing that he is below the white people that live in the same building.
