Title: Nuggets have the pie, Melo's suitors crumbs

Carmelo Anthony played the New York Knicks and demolished their defense. After he was asked about if he ever considered playing for them he said he never thought of it. Although the didnt look like a championship team, you have to wonder if Carmelo actually wanted to stay. Over the summer there were several trade rumors that Anthony would end up going to NY. (http://www.prosportsdaily.com/nba/knicks/rumors.html) This Knicks trade rumors site proves my opinion that Anthony actually wanted to be traded. Because the Nuggets are on their way down and the Knicks are a team that is trying to build a dynasty, he had to have wanted to join their squad. Denver simply needs to win games in order to keep Anthony's interest. Harrington and Anthony combined for 42 points which cause them to win the game. With more games like this, they will be in the running for a playoff spot. Although Carmelo was offered a whopping 65 million to stay, he still expressed interest in other teams.
