The Denver Broncos have been called the laughingstock of the NFL. Who better to return to the team and restore their tradition of success than John Elway. Recently, there has been talk about this being a possibility. The football legend has said that if offered a job, he would take on a bigger role in the team, making the important decisions. Elway has played in 5 super bowls and won two of them. This experience is just what the broncos may need. John has co-owned an arena football team that has won a championship. Maybe some the the same results could occer for the Broncos, although not every problem will be fixed. His presence with the team would certainly bring a better image to the team, hopefully bringing more wins. I think that this is a great option for the team and they should take advantage of bringing a veteran to the locker room. In my opinion, this could be one of the best roles for Elway to fill. Who knows what it takes to build a championship caliber team better than the two-time Super Bowl champion John Elway?" (Chatterton). This article agrees with me that Elway's reputation of leading a team to wins is great for the failing franchise.

Questions:
How involved was Elway before his option to take over the executive manger spot?
Besides his experience, how can having a new manager correlate to wins?
What will happen to the coach and former executive manager?

Vocab:
None.
